The Item Centric company has been created in 2003 with the purpose to offer a tool that could prevent any illegitimate attempts or unauthorized access to the contents of digital files.  

It took two and a half years of research and development to come up with the Olmek software.

On this fundamental base Item Centric created a range of coherent, complementary and robust services for the purpose of secrecy management.

Item Centric is a company with light but highly specialized human resources in the secrecy management sector.

Since its establishment more than a third of it's budget has been devoted to R&D.
